6 SERVINGS
1 lb. dried apricots
4 oz. [1/2 cup] sugar
brandy

Directions:

  1. Place the apricots and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour over enough brandy to completely cover the fruit.
  3. Cover and leave in a cool place for at least 36 hours.
  4. The longer the apricots are soaked the more the flavor improves.
  5. Serve chilled.
