Last week I read about it in a magazine, I saw it on the news and also my friend was talking about porrige. How amazingly good it is, and it's so easy and cheap!
So, today finaly I did a traditional (for me) porridge with:
1 dl oatmeal
2 dl water
1 tsp cardamom
pinch salt
Boil about 3-5 minutes while stiring
Then, I add some pieces of dried apricots, almondflakes, roasted sesame seeds, ricemilk and a apple & blueberry jam that I bought at the bio market.
Another great thing is that there are hundreds of different combination you can do.
For you who are sensitive to oats, try buckwheat-, quinoa-flakes or polenta.

Buchwheat and quinoa gives a very good amount of protein.
