Breakfast has always been my favourit meal of the day, also in general I love mornings! I guess I am a "morning person". I like to get up in time, have a cup of tea and prepare some nice fresh breakfast and sit down with a magazine, notebook or just look out the window. Today I woke up, and I baked some scones.
I think that scones are best when they are freshly baked and still warm from the oven, but you can save them up to two days and they are still good.
Recipe, 4-5 scones
2 dl whole rice flour
1 dl oatflakes
1 dl quinoa flour
0,5 dl roasted sesam seeds
1/4 dl olive oil, butter or coconut oil
1 pinch salt
2 dl hot water
Heat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the fat/oil you have choosen, and then the hot water. Blend it with a spoon first, and then use your hands to form 4-5 round breads. The dough is a bit sticky, and it should be otherwise the bread will be too dry. Put the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 7 minutes, then take out and turn the oven tray, and bake for another 7 minutes.

Have a good day,
Lina
