Natural allergy remedies

I have been allergic for nuts since I was little. No walnuts, peanuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, etc. That's a shame because I bet it is wonderful to eat, and also of course it has many health benifits and you can create a lot of beautiful food with it. I am very thankful that I can eat almonds and seeds, that you might noticed that I use a lot in my recipes.

Good to know, is that you can treat allergy with some natural remedies. Here are my three natural rescuers:

Vitamin C
I always carry vitamin C capsules in my bag, in case of an allergic reaction. It's the safest, most powerful, cheapest and most effective antihistamine-antitoxin.

Blueberries
They contain natural anti-histamin, so when an allergic reaction occur, make a pure juice of blueberries for helping to lower the histamin. Most of the time you have some blueberries in the freezer at home. The antioxidants in the berries will also help all the body to detoxify and give support.

Aloe vera
Use aloe vera gel on your body, it calms and cools down the skin. Also it helps the liver.

Make sure you drink a lot of water during the rest of the day and let your body rest and recover.

Note! These are guidelines and should not replace special prescription from your doctor.
