Everyone loves fried chicken!

We soaked it in its marinade overnight. The bicarbonate soda did its part in making the chicken meat tender. We had some left-overs which we ate the next day. The wings are still tender to the bones. Also, the spices go so well together.
See our recipe below.
Ingredients:
-Chicken wings, 1kg, tips cut and joints separated

Kids dig it; and adults are easily swayed to it! Cooking it, however is a totally different story. Not everyone can fry a crispy, tender, tasty and no blood in sight chuck! This fried chicken recipe hopes to help with that.
This recipe is inspired by one of our favorite Chinese Restaurants in the Philippines called Mann Hann. They serve a wicked Okiam Chicken. Hubby and I devour them each time we visit the homeland! We don’t cook much fried chicken at home. (Never, really!) Aside from the fact that we live just next to a KFC joint, it is just not our forte. But to attempt a fried chicken recipe with a touch of Mann Hann’s Okiam chicken, we dare to fry!
Here’s a shot of our aspirations. And the taste… YUM!
