Ideas for a Bridal Shower

Today, I am excited to share some ideas and details you can add to a Bridal Shower. This past weekend we had the pleasure of being a guest at my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower and I want to share with you some beautiful details the mother-of-the-bride added.

Each table displayed a beautiful floral centerpiece and Gabby's mom added a large lantern in the center of each one.  During the bridal shower the ladies had fun playing a game of " He Said, She Said" and the winners of each table were lucky to take home this gorgeous centerpiece.

In the middle of the room of the Bridal Shower stood this dessert table for all to admire. It was filled with handmade treats and sweets, including a Confetti Bar (which is a must and traditional at Italian festivities).

Italian confetti candies are hard-covered candies filled with almonds or flavored chocolates. "Confetti" is Italian for "confection." Confetti candy from Italy can be found and bought on line.

Here she decorated each of the glass jars with beautiful ivory ribbons and even took the time to glue diamond studs in the center of each one, adding an elegance and beauty to the confetti bar.

She went to the trouble of finding different flavors of the confetti candies and then labeled each jar  for our guests to select and enjoy.

Small white bags were displayed at the table for everyone to take some extra sweets home at the end of the day.

She created a Macaron Cake. Using over 100 macarons in three delicious flavors, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.  YUM!

Cookies were decorated in the shape of the bride's dress and scattered around the confetti table, including adding one cookie next to each guest's napkin, at the tables. So lovely!

Dark chocolate covered pretzels and oreos were added as extra treats!

And a basket filled with individually wrapped marshmallow pops dipped in pink colored white chocolate.

Unfortunately, I took these photos with my I-phone and some turned out blurred.

One tall floral centerpiece was displayed at the Bridal table.

Gabby's mom also gave an extra special gift to her daughter and displayed it on the Bridal table. A silver bracelet sitting in the box and displayed on top of these beautiful white roses, for her to wear on her wedding day!

Another small detail she added to the shower, was these gorgeous mirrored jewelry boxes wrapped in clear wrap sitting off to the side of the bridal table. These were the bridal party gifts for her bridesmaid's at the shower!  Her mother, Olivia thought of every detail and special touches.

Oh and I almost forgot!  As you entered into the room, there was a table with tall fluted glasses filled with Mimosas.  Each glass displayed a pretty butterfly sitting on the rim, with the guest's name and table numbers for seating.  It was the perfect way to start the bridal shower.

When it was time for the guests to yell out "Surprise" my son surprised his bride-to-be at the entrance with a  bouquet of flowers.

The wedding is in 2 months, and we can't believe how time flies.  I better find some waterproof make-up before then because I know I will be a mess at my son's wedding.

And, each guest went home with a favor!  Olivia thought of every thing!

Everyone called me the next day to tell me the party was one of the nicest Bridal Showers they have ever been to, and I must admit - it was for me too!

Special thanks to Olivia and the bride's sister Allie for organizing such a beautiful bridal shower!

Cheers!
xoxo Anna
